Pick your fish! This could be haddock, halibut, sole, salmon, or any other fresh fillet.
Pat the fish dry with a clean cloth or paper towel and season with salt. For extra crispy fish lightly coat it in flour! (A little cornstarch mixed in makes it extra crispy!)
Pre-heat a pan with oil, until almost smoking hot. Gently place the fish into the hot pan.
The fish should sizzle as soon as it hits the pan. Let the fish fry, until the edges start to turn golden brown. Resist the urge to move the fish before the edges brown!
Once you can easily slide a spatula underneath the fish without it sticking, flip the fish with a spatula, and repeat the process.
Serve the Pan Fried Fish as soon as possible for best results!
