If you don't already have one, purchase a fondue pot (a traditional one, or an electric set will do!).
Gather & prepare your meat Fondue Ingredients: - 1.5l broth (match the broth to type of meat) - 2-4lb meat cut into cubes or slices – Various vegetables cut into cubes (ie:. red pepper, onions, broccoli etc.) – Condiments and sauces
Light the fondue burner and gently heat the broth until it is simmering. Adjust the heat as needed to keep the broth at a simmer.
As the broth is heating, set out all the ingredients to be cooked by your guests in small bowls, on platters, or other serving ware. Remember: keep raw meat cold and separate from vegetables!
When ready to serve, have guests skewer various ingredients on their fondue skewer, and place in the simmering broth until fully cooked! Remember: larger peices cook slower then smaller ones!
